1. How do I apply the serum?
- Begin with gently cleansing your skin to remove dirt, oil and makeup.
- Apply a few drops of the serum to your fingertips and then gently pat or press the serum onto your clean and dry face.
- Allow the serum to fully absorb into the skin before applying your moisturizer.
- Always apply SPF after moisturizer in the morning. We recommend using the Probiotic Infused Serum both day and night.
2. Which skin type is AOC's Probiotic Infused Serum good for?
AOC's Probiotic Infused Serum works well on all skin types, including sensitive and acne prone skin.
3. What is broccoli seed oil and why is it so great?

4. Is AOC's Probiotic Infused Serum safe to use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding?
YES! The formula was specifically designed to be safe during these periods of a woman's life. Powered by probiotic technology and clean, non-reactive ingredients like broccoli seed extract, it delivers an elevated, effective formula that supports the skin at every life stage—including pregnancy and postpartum. But as with anything, please check with your doctor.
5. What is a retinol alternative?
AOC’s Probiotic Infused Serum was specifically formulated as a retinol alternative. A retinol alternative is a skincare product that safely offers similar skin renewing and anti-aging benefits retinols do, just without the irritation or potential risk associated with retinol. Retinol products are deemed unsafe to use in pregnancy and the postpartum period for breastfeeding mothers.
6. How is AOC’s Probiotic Infused Serum a retinol alternative if it contains Vitamin A?
There are two types of Vitamin A. The Vitamin A found in broccoli seed oil is primarily in the non-toxic, plant-based form of provitamin A carotenoids, like beta-carotene. High doses of this natural form do not cause the same risks as overconsumption of preformed vitamin A (retinol), which is found in animal products and some supplements. So unlike other other commonly used Vitamin A derivatives, such as retinols/ retinoids, broccoli seed oil is considered safe to use in pregnancy. But as with anything, please check with your doctor.
7. What is the shelf-life?
Once opened, the shelf life is twelve months. Keep the serum out of extreme temperatures (cold or hot) and out of direct sunlight.
8. Does the formula include fragrance and parabens?
Our serum is formulated without added fragrance, making it suitable for sensitive skin and individuals sensitive to scent. Additionally, the product is free from parabens, aligning with our commitment to clean and safe skincare.
9. Are your products tested on animals?
AOC's products are 100% cruelty free, ensuring that no animal testing is involved at any stage of development.
10. Is the product safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! AOC’s Probiotic Infused Serum was specifically formulated for sensitive skin. With that being said, we recommend doing a patch test before use. A patch test involves applying a small amount of a skincare product to a small area of your skin to check for any adverse reactions before applying it to your entire face.
